Who Are Mortoni Bros.?

Well, it's a long story.... but the short version is.... it's only me, with some purring support.

ABOUT MYSELF... I:

Was born and raised in Gothenburg, Sweden.

Graduated from the University of Goteborg with a masters degree in teaching all textile techniques. I also studied costume and fabric history, pattern making, etc.

Took one year off to backpack and explore the globe, through Russia on the trans-Siberian railroad to China, Burma, Singapore, Indonesia (where I took batik classes), New Zealand, New Caledonia, and Tahiti.... to name a few places.

Taught classes in sewing, knitting, dying with natural dyes, etc. in Sweden.

Worked for 20+ years as a costume designer for 35mm movies, television, live stage productions and commercial pictures.

Relocated to San Diego in 1994, and ventured into a new career phase by starting Mortoni Bros. LLC.

In combination, my education and experience enable me to offer a unique, high-value set of services to my clients and students.

A percentage of all Mortoni Bros. revenue is donated to causes close to my heart.
