Designing and Dressmaking DESIGN My designs are based on the vision and ideas that my client brings me, combined with my experience. My absolute goal is to always provide the most personalized, flattering design for each of my clients. ABOUT THE PROCESS Typically I consult with my client in person, and will then provide cost & schedule estimates based on our conversation and agreement. Depending on my client's needs, I will make suggestions, design alterations, and / or provide a muslin (trial piece) to try out the design and fit.... and then produce the desired garment in the chosen fabric, allowing time for as many fittings as needed. I take pride in doing every step personally. OTHER SERVICES I also offer: Production of personalized patterns. Pattern making, samples, etc. for commercial designers. High-end alterations. PRICING Every garment I make is unique, regarding its design and construction time. I will be able to provide an estimate, based on labor hours and desired materials, after an initial client consultation.
